I made BBQ chicken with a side of broccoli, a portion of shell noodles with a homemade alfredo sauce. It was delicious.

I had casino food. The vegetables, mashed potatoes, spagetti and meatballs, roast beef, jambalaya, fried chicken, namiano bars, and butter tart were some good, as were the root beer, iced tea, and coffee. Even the glass of water was good. BURRRRRRP, please excuse me.

Halal Hot Dogs - cheap in the co-op. 99c for a dozen.

Salad and my current favourite dressing - Blackberry with Cabernet Sauvignon vinaigrette. (Sensations from Sobeys)

We had a breakfast treat this morning (Cora's Special) and knowing we wouldn't want to eat much later, I looked at the made-up salads at Superstore.

I don't normally buy them - they're usually too much - but I always look as often they're marked down and they can make a good side salad or starter.

Today they had Spinach, red onion, mushroom and cheese salads. They looked very good value for their usual $2.29, especially as there was plenty of cheese. But they were then half price.

I bought a couple and mixed the contents with some lettuce, cucumber, red pepper and tomato at home. Brilliant.

Especially with my fave dressing and fresh crusty multigrain bread.

Roast beef. Best one I've had for 3 or 4 years. Lurvelly gravy.

Mrs B has never been keen. "Tastes like cadaver" she says. I did a bit of pork for her.

Last night I tried one of those wines I'd noted from the Keg wine list.

Really good. Better than some I've paid more for.

We had steak in a pepper sauce for supper. The steak had been in the freezer since October.

2010.

It was delish.

I found a new salad dressing - Pineapple curry.

I bought it specifically for cooking, so I cooked a chicken breast in it.

Very nice.

I had sausages, macaroni salad, and a Mozza burger (not to be confused with a mozzie burger) for desert.

I am having two Whoppers with yellow coloured french fries (not sure what they're called but they are some good).
