I found this in one of those humour sites about tech support conversations that are supposedly real.
Tech Support: "Ok, now click your left mouse button."
Customer: (silence) "But I only have one mouse."
I thought it actually made a good point....in that many tech minded folk assume everyone speaks the same language and "explain" something in a way that doesn't make it at all clear to the uninitiated.
Nobody here, I hasten to add. I'm thinking of the tech support people at work or on some other forums where they list an easy, step by step guide, as to how to do something and you get lost at stage two because they went technical on you.
